•Actor and director Ravi Mahajani was a Marathi (1946–July 2023). Mahajani played roles in Marathi movies from the late 1970s to the mid 1980s.. In his early career, Mahajani drove a taxi and auditioned for films. He made Marathi films until 1987-1988. Due to his personality and appearance, he was often referred to as the "Vinod Khanna of Marathi film industry." Director N. Chandra wanted him to act in his 1986 film "Ankush" due to their resemblance to Vinod Khanna.

•Mahajani declined the offer. He acted in several romantic songs, including "Ha Sagar Kinara," "Sumbharan Gao Deva," and "Faite Andharache Jale." His film "Devata" is popular among rural audiences. He is known for his roles in films like "Duniya Kari Salaam" (1979), "Mumbai Cha Faujdar" (1984), "Zunj" (1989), "Kalat Nakalat" (1990), and "Aaram Haram Ahe."
